Why EaseAlert?

…I watched from the sidelines for most of my life. Today, I am proud to say that I am able to do my part to make a difference. I am passionate about EaseAlert because it actively works to give years back to my dad and other heroes just like him.”

- Blake Richardson, Cofounder of EaseAlert

“My dad (left) has been a firefighter for as long as I can remember…

Richardson discusses the “why” behind EaseAlert.

Our Team

Cofounder & CEO

Blake Richardson

As a fire service family member, Blake brings his vision and network to EaseAlert, extending its impact to firefighters everywhere.

"EaseAlert is how I give back to firefighters like my dad, who give their all to protect and serve their communities."

Elezar Tonev

Elezar leverages his experience as co-founder and chief operating officer of RDM Innovation, a successful product development company, to efficiently develop high-quality technology for firefighters.

"Understanding the stress and health complications that firefighters are susceptible to, EaseAlert offers a product that not only can improve a firefighter's life but can ultimately be responsible for saving his or her life."

Cofounder & CTO

Advisory Board

Assistant Chief Mike Long (Ret.)

Chief Long has been a firefighter for over 50 years. During his tenure, he led Monticello Volunteer Fire Department to an ISO Rating of 3 — a rarity in the volunteer fire service.

His illustrious career in the fire services is highlighted by his Silver Smokey Bear Award for fire prevention and Florida Fire Chief of the Year Award from his peers.

"I know the health problems that firefighters struggle with, leading to early retirement and untimely death. While there have been efforts to encourage healthy diet and exercise for firefighters, no one has solved the critical stress-related component. I believe that EaseAlert can finally offer a proactive solution to that stress."

Narayanan Krishnamoorthy, MD

Dr. Krishnamoorthy Board Certified in Clinical Lipidology and Family Medicine. He completed Medical School at TD Medical College in Alappuzha, Kerala, India and he earned a Master of Science degree at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, UK.

As a physician, Dr. Krishnamoorthy's goal is to make a difference in people’s lives. As an EaseAlert advisor, his goal is to make a difference for the frontline heroes who protect their communities every day.

"EaseAlert's strong team and scientific foundation give me confidence in the team's ability to improve quality of life for the responders we rely on in our most desperate moments."
